What is Cast Stone?

Any material made with natural aggregates and cementitious binder that is intended to resemble and be used in a similar way to natural stone.

Our Pressed Stone Mouldings, are made from crushed limestone mixed with a binder. On some larger moulds this material is backed up with cast granite to add strength. Like quarried stone or natural stone, our pressed stone can exhibit slight shade variations from piece to piece, reflecting the colour of the natural materials used in the cast stone production process.
Cast granite mouldings, are crushed granite mixed with a binder then cast in a former, sometimes with steel reinforcing.
All cast-in fixings and reinforcement used by us during the production process are non-ferrous, usually stainless steel.
