We appreciate that we are biased, but we think that the external lime render and traditional lime
plastering inside the property gives a stunning finishing touch to the property and it is something
that has been universally positively commented on by all of our visitors

As you know, when we first started out on our project, we had little understanding of any aspect of
renovation. Your impartial, honest and friendly advice, followed by an unwavering attention to
detail when undertaking the work has been instrumental in helping us to deliver the home of our
dreams.

On the 1st May 2011 we had a fire at our cottage which is a grade 2 listed building built in 1460.

The damage was extensive as the cottage has a thatched roof which was lost with the upstairs timbers also. It took 18 months to rebuild the cottage. Martin Redshaw plastering services was recommended as he specialises in the lime plastering/rendering. We needed to put our cottage back to its best.

That's what he achieved and more. We are very pleased with the work. It took 6 weeks to get all the work finished. We also got Martin to do extra work ie. woodfibre board for added insulation. All the work was done to a high standard and we were asked on the finish to the texture of the plaster/render that we preferred.

The site was left clean and tidy on completion which was nice to see as some of the other trades where less mindful.

I would highly recommend Martin if you want a no nonsense professional service.
